My Why

I have spent more than 30 years in the social services industry, working on the front line with children and families.  Over the last several decades, I have demonstrated the desire, determination, and drive to work hard and stand for those who otherwise feel they do not have a voice.  I am not afraid to advocate for causes that promote positive change, diversity, inclusiveness, and equality for all.

I am committed to the success of all children, this city, its residents and the process of how local government can and should work when it’s community makeup consist of a diverse group of people. My commitment has always been focused on working towards making our City great for all constituents and their families not just a select group.

I want families and voters to know I am not here to be a career politician; instead, I am here to be an instrument of change for the people who feel their voices are unheard.  I am one of you, and your voices will be heard through me.

My platform will focus on ensuring our children receive the best quality education and that educators have the resources and support they need.  I also want to ensure the safety of our schools for students, faculty, bus drivers, and cafeteria personnel.

I realize we are experiencing unprecedented challenges. Now, more than ever, it is extremely important that everyone is kept safe and that our schools are fully funded.
